The casebook we will use is Evidence Under the Rules, Mueller, Kirkpatrick (8th edition). This is a brand new edition, so you may not be able to get used books. You DO NOT need to buy the supplement. The syllabus will be distributed on or before the first class.
First Class Readings
The first class reading: 1. Casebook pages 1-13 (a PDF of these pages is posted on MyWCL); 2. Pages 1-5 of the "Jury Instructions Compilation" document (posted on MyWCL) 3. Also, review the "Admissibility Stairsteps" chart (posted on MyWCL) that we will discuss on the first day of class.
