Description

This course is an introduction to the law of business organizations. We will study principles of agency, as well as the formation, funding, governance, and dissolution of partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies, with attention to some of the special problems of public companies. We will try to understand the law in the context of real business practice, but no background in economics, business, or finance is necessary.
