An examination of the ethical obligations of lawyers, with a primary focus on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, a version of which has been adopted in most states (all except for California) and Washington, D.C.

Please note: It is essential that students use the identified editions of the Casebook and Model Rules, as there have been significant rules changes that are not reflected in prior editions of either. With regard to the Casebook, students may use the “SMARTe Edition.”
