An examination of the ethical obligations of lawyers, with a primary focus on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, a version of which has been adopted (with some variation) in all states and Washington, D.C. Methods of assessment include a final exam and class participation, including general participation and performance on in-class on-call assignments. Note: This course will not satisfy the upper-level writing requirement.
