Description
A survey of the law of real and personal property; possession and present and future estates in land; the relationship between owners of successive interests in land; transmission of ownership between living persons; and conveyancing.

The primary text for the class is: Dukeminier, Krier, Alexander, Schill & Strahilevitz, Property (9th Ed., 2018). All readings from the textbook will be identified with DKASS p#-p#. A note about the textbook: You do not need to look up the citations that accompany the questions that follow the cases; those citations are there in the event you are particularly interested in something, and so that you can use the textbook as a resource when you are done with law school. I will discuss how to best use the text’s voluminous notes in class. All PowerPoint presentations will be posted on MyWCL as Supplementary Course Materials, when relevant.
