Case No. 1727 (El Salvador)
Case No. 1727, of October 25, 1971 pertains to denunciation of the arbitrary search of the private domicile of Dr. Martha Gladys Urbina on October 1 of that year, at "Colonia Escalón," in San Salvador.
As the denunciation did not meet the requirements established in Article 54 of its Regulations, in a letter dated November 2, 1971, the Commission requested that the petitioner fulfill such requirements.
The Commission considered this case at its Twenty-Sixth Session (October-November 1971) and agreed to postpone its consideration until the petitioner provided all pertinent data.
At its Twenty-Seventh Session (February-March 1972) the Commission again studied the case and, as the denunciation had not been completed, decided to file it without prejudice to reopening it if the data requested were supplied within a reasonable period.
