On April 14, the Program on Law & Government, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and the Public Law Faculty Practice Group co-sponsored a successful reception for JD and LL.M. students to network with alumni in government, public interest organizations, and federal agencies. The event, held at the Rayburn House Office Building, welcomed over 200 students and alumni, including Rep. Stacey Plaskett ’94 and Rep. Gwen Graham ’88. Professor Jamie Raskin, director of the Program on Law & Government spoke on the exciting future of AUWCL, while Rep. Graham credited the law school for she has gotten today.

Professor Amy Tenney, associate director of the Program on Law & Government, shared, "It was a pleasure to see so many members of the AUWCL community and to watch them reconnect with their classmates and make new connections with alumni and current students.  The level of energy in the room and the outstanding alumni attendance are testaments to the fact that our graduates are always there to help each other and will always be part of our community."
