Summer Welcome Reception for Incoming Students
More than 150 people, including current students, faculty, staff, and alumni attended our Summer Welcome Reception for Incoming Students on July 1, 2015. Hosted at Skadden law firm's rooftop terrace overlooking The White House and Washington Monument, the event was a huge success in highlighting the amazing D.C. opportunities and beautiful skyline. It was a total D.C. experience including a view of President Obama’s helicopter Marine One landing at The White House during the event. Dean Claudio Grossman and John H. Lyons ’94, a partner at Skadden, addressed the enthusiastic crowd. It was great to have so many alumni attend and welcome the newest members of the WCL community.
