American University Announces Start of the 16th Annual Human Rights Film Series
This fall, The Center for Human Rights & Humanitarian Law and the American University Center for Media & Social Impact as part of the 16th Annual Human Rights Film Series will feature four exceptional documentary films that explore a broad spectrum of human rights issues under the thematic umbrella of race and justice in America.

On Friday, Sept. 25, American University Washington College of Law celebrated the 31st Anniversary of the John Sherman Myers Society with a dinner for more than 200 guests at the Great Hall of the Library of Congress. As part of the evening the Society honored Dean Claudio Grossman with the Founders Award. In giving Dean Grossman the Founders Award, American University President Neil Kerwin announced that what has up until now been called Founders’ Hall at the law school’s new Tenley Campus will now be named Claudio Grossman Hall in honor of Dean Grossman.
