On Monday, July 25, colleagues, family, and friends of the Washington College of Law gathered in Claudio Grossman Hall to see the unveiling of Dean Emeritus Claudio Grossman's official portrait.

American University Washington College of Law, the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, and the RFK Center for Human Rights have organized a week-long training on the Inter-American and Universal systems of human rights for government officials working in human rights. 

Waris Husain, Esq., an SJD candidate at American University Washington College of Law, traveled to Nepal last April to participate in a speaking tour sponsored by the State Department's Bureau of International Information Programs. Recently, we caught up with Husain, who is currently working on his dissertation. He shared what he gained from the trip and how he intends to leverage the experience to help him achieve his long-term career goals.
