Seeing the Invisible: Spotting Gender Issues in 1L Classes

12:00PM - 01:00PM Washington College of Law

Attention 1Ls!

What does the law you learn in your first year have to do with gender inequality? Does gender impact the law of Torts, Contracts, Property and Civil Procedure? Does the law you discuss in those classes enforce or challenge traditional gender roles? By re-reading cases often covered in your first year classes, Professor Fernanda Nicola will help students focus on how to spot the often overlooked impact of gender in many areas of the law.

This event is open to 1Ls only. Registration is required as the session is capped at 20 participants. Please RSVP by October 12th.
