Trial Honor Society's Spring Qualifying Tournament allows full-time 1Ls and 2Ls
and part-time 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls the opportunity to try-out for membership in
the Society. SQT is a two-day event, during which interested students will
present portions of a trial before the current MTHS membership. Advocates
are given a short case file at registration, from which they will prepare a
five-minute closing argument, and should they advance to the second day, a
four-minute direct examination.
