Sustainable Development Law and Policy Brief: Air Quality and Environmental Justice Symposium

The Sustainable Development Law and Policy Brief is hosting a Symposium entitled "Air Quality and Environmental Justice” on Friday, February 07, 2020 at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.  The Symposium will focus on the key air quality issues affecting frontline communities and developing innovative policy solutions that address regulatory gaps and deficiencies. Specifically, the panelists will discuss hazardous air pollution, promoting clean energy generation, carbon pricing programs, and environmental justice. Panelists will include activists who have worked directly with impacted communities; experts from nonprofit, government, and international organizations; and attorneys who specialize in Clean Air Act enforcement litigation.
