DOJ Honors Program (HP) and Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP)

Please join OCPD on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 3pm in Warren- N101 for an information session on the Attorney General’s Honors Program (HP) and Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP) at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). DOJ is the world’s largest legal employer, with more than 11,000 attorneys nationwide. This year, the Department has over 240 entry-level attorney openings through the HP! It also has paid summer internships for second-year law students and volunteer legal internships for all years. DOJ offers opportunities for law students and attorneys in virtually every legal practice area. The application deadline for the HP and SLIP is fast approaching and is Sunday, September 8, 2019.

Trisha A. Fillbach Assistant Director of the DOJ’s Office of Attorney Recruitment and Management will join us to talk about DOJ’s four legal hiring programs, with a special emphasis on the HP and SLIP, including application tips.
