"Hasta la Raíz (Down to the Root)": A Human Rights Film Screening

Join the Center for Human Rights & Humanitarian Law, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL), and the Americas Network on Nationality and Statelessness, for a screening of "Hasta la Raíz (Down to the Root)", a documentary about the denationalization of Dominicans of Haitian descent in the Dominican Republic.  Following the screening, the film's director and producer, Juan Carlos González, will join AUWCL's Practitioner-in-Residence in the International Human Rights Law Clinic, Anne Schaufele, to discuss issues of statelessness, human rights, race, and nationality. This event is free and open to the public.
