08:00AM - 05:15PM Washington College of Law YT01-01
On Friday, April 27, 2018, the Legal Rhetoric Program will host the Third Annual Legal Writing Workshop for practicing attorneys.  The intensive program was developed in 2016 for Virginia lawyers in direct response to observations and recommendations about lawyer communications skills made during the 2012 Virginia State Bar Conclave on the future of legal education in Virginia. The program is a collaborative effort of the Legal Rhetoric Program, Virginia State Bar Section on Education of Lawyers, Virginia CLE,  and the Virginia Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Division.  The Honorable Mary Grace O’Brien of the Virginia Court of Appeals, the Honorable David W. Lannetti of the Norfolk Circuit Court, John M. Bredehoft of Kaufman & Canoles, Andrea L. Bridgeman of Freddie Mac, L. Steven Emmert of Sykes, Bourdon, Ahern & Levy, P.C., will participate in breakout sessions and a professionalism panel.  Professors Heather E. Ridenour and David H.
