Rich and Poor: Opportunities and Challenges in an Age of Disruption

American University and the World Bank Group invite you to attend an event with Dr. Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank Group, where he will speak about efforts to solve the most pressing global challenges. Dr. Kim will address how innovation and technology are helping redefine the relationship between rich and poor countries in an era of rapid and transformational change. The event will be moderated by Joshua Johnson, host of the NPR show 1A.

The event will be followed by a reception, where AU students will have the chance to meet World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim and AU alumni now working at the World Bank Group. Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
