Information Session: Akin Gump Pro Bono Scholars Program

12:00PM - 01:00PM Washington College of Law Y115
Attention 1Ls! Are you interested in making pro bono work an integral part of your practice? The Akin Gump Pro Bono Scholars Program is a two-year summer program for top students who are interested in doing just that. Pro Bono Scholars make a two-year commitment to the firm, spending at least seven weeks of their 1L summer at a public interest organization of their choosing and then returning for the firm’s general Summer Associate Program for their 2L summer. Please join the Office of Public Interest for pizza and a conversation with AUWCL alumnus Scott Johnson, Counsel at Akin Gump, to learn more about the program and how to apply. Applications are due on February 16, 2018, so don't miss out! RSVP on MYWCL.
