The Colombian Peace Process: the Challenges of “Total Peace”

This panel will discuss the ongoing peace initiatives in Colombia and their relationship to the protection of human rights in that country. From the 2016 peace accords to the current government's ongoing quest for so-called "Total Peace," human rights have been one of the central topics of debate. The panelists will provide their expert perspective on some of the complex aspects that the search for peace in recent years has had in relation to the protection of human rights in Colombia.
