Sea Level Rise and International Law: Assessing its Impacts on the Americas - Day 2

The conference seeks to gather scholars, practitioners, and diplomats to explore how the Law of the Sea and other international norms address issues such as climate change, sea-level rise and its impacts on maritime entitlements, statehood, and human rights. The aim is to enhance our understanding of the legal issues relating to sea-level rise and encourage further study and discussion. The conference will be held during the 73rd Session of the International Law Commission meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.

Supreme Court Preview

Join experts in the areas of constitutional law and affirmative action as they discuss the upcoming US Supreme Court case,  Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College.  The event will take place on September 1st at noon in the ceremonial classroom, NT01. 

Supreme Court Preview: Free Chick Fil A will be provided.  The panelists are Stephen Wermiel, former Supreme Court Reporter and Constitutional Law Professor at AUWCL, and Cory Liu, former Assistant General Counsel to Governor Abbott and Partner at Ashcroft Law Firm.
