Supreme Court IP Series: Lucky Brand Dungarees v. Marcel Fashion Group

In this trademark case, the Court will determine whether, when a plaintiff asserts new claims, federal preclusion principles can bar a defendant from raising defenses that were not actually litigated and resolved in any prior case between the parties. 21st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Commemoration

The Annual MLK Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 3:30 PM in Grossman Hall.  The keynote speaker will be Justin D. Hansford, Professor of Law and Executive Director of the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center at Howard University.  The program includes a community reading of excerpts from King's "Where Do We Go From Here?" annual report delivered at the Eleventh Annual SCLC Convention in 1967.
