Annual Intellectual Property & Technology Career Coaching and Speed Networking

 In this annual event, PIJIP & TLS students and recent WCL graduates match with practicing alumni working in their field of interest for one-on-one meetings. Each online meeting will be approximately 15 minutes and may include advice on revising your resume and making contacts in the field. Registration requires an uploaded resume and a short description of your field of interest to share with career coaches.

Legal Innovators: Big Law Hiring for 2Ls/3Ls

Legal Innovators, an alternative legal service provider, will be hosting an information session for 2Ls and 3Ls to learn more about upcoming job opportunities with the company on February 7, 2022 at 12pm ET. Legal Innovators recruits graduating 3L students to provide a new pathway into law firms and corporate legal departments. Their clients include Locke Lord LLP; Latham & Watkins LLP; Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP; Shearman & Sterling LLP; Gilbert LLP; Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A.; Bechtel Corporation; FTI Consulting, Inc.; and more. 

In the first year, you will be assigned to work with a law firm or corporate legal department as an attorney of that firm/organization. Upon starting with Legal Innovators, you will go through intensive orientation training to get you ready for the rigors of your first-year practicing law. Once you are placed with the firm or legal department, you will receive ongoing formal and informal training, mentorship and professional coaching. The objective is to launch you into your career in BigLaw or in-house.
