In doing so, Adam will discuss his career as a lobbyist and the resources L4GG is developing to help attorneys advocate for social change.

Business Law Program: The Exploding Virtual Currency Industry and Emerging Law, Regulation and Policy Issues

As part of American University's Washington College of Law Annual Alumni Reunion Weekend events, on Friday September 24, 2021, please join AUWCL for a roundtable discussion with three WCL alums who are legal leaders in the exploding virtual currency and blockchain industry: David Brill (WCL ’96), Head Commercial Counsel, Voyager Digital and Chair of the Crypto Assets Working Group for the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance; Lee A. Schneider (WCL ‘91), General Counsel, AVA Labs, and Andrew Siegel (WCL ‘94), General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Galaxy LP.

As part of AUWCL’s series of webinars hosted by AUWCL’s Business Law Program designed to foster a deeper understanding of virtual currency and transformative financial technologies, these distinguished WCL alumni will share their insights on the emerging legal, regulatory and policy issues governing the new and growing world of virtual currency businesses and activities. This panel will be moderated by Professor V. Gerard Comizio, associate director of the Business Law Program.
