“Is Business Law For Me?”

03:30PM - 04:30PM Washington College of Law

Attention 1Ls: Is OCI on your mind?  Have you been hearing about law firm events, and have you wondered why and where all these events were going?  Come join us for an informal conversation with WCL faculty members with business law expertise.  We’ll preview how OCI (On Campus Interviews, happening this summer) and direct applications to large law firms work.

As we will discuss, OCI will help you jumpstart your career in “Business Law,” which covers all the activities that businesses or corporations might engage in, plus the regulation of those activities.  Think broadly—business lawyers advise corporate clients or regulators on everything from negotiating contracts, to employing staff, to regulating finance, to litigating business disputes, to buying and selling real estate and products in the market.  If you’re interested in business law and want to learn more about what it looks like in practice, this event will be perfect for you.

Registration is free, but required. Sign-up here!
