Sovereignty Play at Arena Stage
The Women and the Law Program and the Office of Public Interest have reserved a row of seats at Sovereignty, a play depicting the intersections of personal and political truths, historic and present struggles through the eyes of a young Cherokee lawyer fighting to restore her Nation’s jurisdiction while fighting with ghosts of her past. The director of the play will have a meet and greet after the play for those attending from WCL, so be sure to reserve your ticket asap. Our tickets are for the 7:00pm viewing on February 6th. The tickets will be free for interested students, having been purchased by an attending alumna. Email womenlaw@wcl.american.edu to reserve your seat. Only five tickets are available to students.
