If you want to find a job in gender and law or family law, you’ll want to attend the Externship Fair on January 24.  Before you do that, though, you need to spiff up your resume.  We’re here to help! 

Sign up by MONDAY Jan 8 at 5PM and we’ll match you with an alum working in your desired field.  He or she will review your resume and meet with you for half an hour to discuss it and your career on January 17th between 6:00-7:00pm in Y112.

Family Court Self-Help Center Pro Bono Training

The Family Court Self-Help Center is a free walk-in service provided by D.C. Superior Court that provides unrepresented individuals with general legal information in a variety of family law matters such as divorce, custody, visitation, and child support. Under the supervision of attorneys, student volunteers will staff the Self-Help Center for two-hour shifts. Volunteers must attend this three-hour training session and familiarize themselves with the training manual before starting the project.  Questions?
