Women, Business and the Law: Getting to Equal

10:00AM - 12:00PM Washington College of Law

Since its inception in 2008, Women, Business and the Law has collected unique data on laws and regulations constraining women's entrepreneurship and employment. The project diagnoses legal barriers limiting women's full economic participation and encourages policy makers to reform gender inequality laws and regulations.

This event marks the launch of their newest report: Getting to EqualGetting to Equal measures legal and regulatory barriers to women’s entrepreneurship and employment in 173 economies. It provides quantitative measures of laws and regulations that affect women’s economic opportunities.

Join Professor Nicola for this spectacular panel highlighting the work of the World Bank's Women, Business and Law team on this report.
