International Suite Talks Series

JD and LLM students interested in international law are encouraged to attend the International and Comparative Legal Studies program's International Suite Talks every Wednesday from 12-1 PM. Every week features a legal practitioner, alumni and/or faculty in different sectors of international law. These informal discussions can lead to networking opportunities and are a great way to learn about career paths in different fields of international law.

Day 1: Water Infrastructure, Equity, and Environmental Justice

This Symposium will focus on the key water quality issues stemming from pollution and infrastructure affecting frontline communities, particularly low-income and communities of color, and explore innovative policy solutions that address regulatory gaps and deficiencies. Specifically, the panelists will discuss hazardous water pollution and its impact on human health as well as water infrastructure in the United States, and a fundamental right to water. This event is sponsored by the  Sustainable Development Law and Policy Brief.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society Spring Qualifying Tournament

10:00AM - 05:00PM Zoom

The Spring Qualifying Tournament is the mandatory competition for admittance onto the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society. Registration is free this year. The competition focuses on negotiation and arbitration. You will be assigned a partner and be required to show your ability to work well in a team as well as your own ability to maintain composure under pressure. 

While the Tournament will be held over two days, you will only compete on one day.
