Participants may also wish to take related courses in Washington sponsored by AUWCL's Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, AUWCL's Summer Session on Environmental Law, and/or AUWCL's International Intellectual Property Summer Session. PIJIP's "Introduction to International Intellectual Property Law" is especially recommended for those without a strong IP background who will be participating in IP Geneva.

Students going to Geneva are encouraged to take “Trade and Diplomacy” in Washington to prepare for the International IP and Trade Track or “Introduction to International Workers’ Rights” in Washington to prepare for the International Labor and Human Rights Track.
