Last week, the PIOLD program held an information session for students interested in the 2015 Summer Program on International Organizations, Law and Diplomacy, to be held in Washington, D.C. and Geneva, Switzerland. Over 60 interested students attended the session, where professors from both the Intellectual Property/Trade and Human Rights/Labor track programs spoke about topics covered during each session, institutions such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) where coursework would take place, opportunities for networking, and internship possibilities. 8 past participants, representing both program tracks, were on hand to speak about their experiences and to answer questions from the prospective students. The information session was a great success, with many of the prospective students engaging past participants in follow-up conversations about the many benefits of the PIOLD summer program.
