Dean Grossman Presides Over Meeting with UN Special Advisor on Prevention of Genocide
On Friday May 1, Dean Claudio Grossman presided over a meeting at the UN Palais Wilson with Adama Dieng, the Under-Secretary-General/UN Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide. The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate actions of the international community designed to develop early warning systems to prevent genocide. Dean Grossman also spoke with Under-Secretary-General Dieng about the role universities could play in the prevention of genocide and coordinating a key role for WCL in several initiatives. He also invited the Under-Secretary for further consultations, including about how students and faculty might assist him in the performance of his mandate.
