This Saturday, April 25 at 9:30pm EST, Don Francisco, host of Univision's "Sabado Gigante," will share photos and stories of his visit to the law school's 18th Annual Hispanic Law Conference held on April 2. The conference, co-sponsored by the national and local Hispanic Bar Associations, addressed essential issues for the Hispanic community, creating opportunities and offering scholarships to our students and emerging high school student leaders.
Students Trevor Maxwell (2L), Chris Keeler (2L), and Asma Kadri (2L) will compete against teams from around the world May 17-22 during the international phase of the ICC Moot Court Competition in The Hague. The competition welcomes universities from all over the world for a large scale moot court simulating the proceedings of the International Criminal Court (ICC). SJD candidate Cristiane Bena Dias receives 2015 Tinker Field Research Grant from the American University Center for Latin American and Latino Studies.
