The Pence Law Library is currently physically closed.  We will reopen when it is legal and safe to do so, observing all DC and AU regulations and guidelines for social distancing and cleaning procedures.  Information about reopening will be posted on the Library’s webpage when it becomes available.

WCL students have access to the Library’s electronic resources from our webpage. We will be offering research assistance by email, telephone at 202-274-4352 or by chat Monday through Friday 10 am to 4 pm. Zoom meetings by appointment for in-depth research assistance will also be available.

West Academic has made their casebooks available to students in electronic format at no cost. You can make arrangements for access to their resources by calling them at 877-888-1330. Wolters Kluwer (Aspen) Publishing is also making their e-casebooks available at no cost but their information won’t be available until later this week. We have also reached out to Carolina Press and the Bluebook to see if they can make the same arrangement. When we hear back from these publishers, we will let you know.

If you need material that is not available in the library’s electronic collections, we will make every effort to obtain a digital copy for you via interlibrary loan or find a suitable substitute.

Please keep an eye on the Library’s website, Facebook, and Twitter for updates.

We wish everyone good health during this stressful time. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance.
