Current Standing and Future Prospects Of The World Trading System

 

The Henry E. & Consuelo S. Wenger Foundation established the Wenger Family Lecture Fund in 2016 to provide financial support for the Wenger Annual Distinguished Lectures on international trade law at American University Washington College of Law. The Second Wenger Annual Lecture on Trade this year will feature the esteemed speaker Ambassador Alan Wolff, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Ambassador Wolff will discuss the current standing and future prospects of the world trading system. Prior to his appointment as WTO Deputy Director-General, Ambassador Wolff was one of the world’s leading international trade lawyers at the global law firm Dentons, and held various official positions in both Democratic and Republican administrations.

The event will take place on November 8, 2017, from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM, in NT01 – Ceremonial Classroom, Warren Building, American University Washington College of Law, 4300 Nebraska Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
