Small, commercially available drones have taken off, with some projecting the market for small drones to reach $22.55 billion by the end of 2026. In this emerging market, China’s Da-Jiang Innovations, or DJI, is by far the dominant player with a market share approaching eighty percent—its “aerial photography system” gaining increased popularity across both the private and public sectors. But with DJI's growing popularity some are now sounding privacy and national security alarms with initiatives like the American Drone Security Act 2019 which would ban the use of federal funds for purchasing drones manufactured in China. Join this virtual discussion with a panel of recognized experts who will explore this new front in the growing tech war with China.
