Erica Nkrumah
INFORMATION JUSTICE FELLOW, LLM STUDENT
Erica is from Ghana, where she obtained her primary law degree and qualified to practice law. She holds a Master of Laws degree with a specialty in Corporate Law from Harvard Law School. Before joining American University, Erica worked with a non-profit in DC where she advised on corporate governance matters and transactions with the organization’s partners in Kenya, Ghana and Liberia. She intends to leverage her background in corporate law and an LL.M in IP to support small and mid-size companies in protecting their intellectual property and overcoming the security challenges of conducting business online. For this reason, she hopes to study some foundational IP courses in addition to courses at the intersection of law, e-commerce, and security. She can be reached at ericankrumah@gmail.com.
