Visiting Scholar Federica Baldan to Present Findings on Patent System Judicial Coherence

Ms. Federica Baldan, a participant in WCL’s International Visiting Scholars Program will share a summary of her research findings on May 9th at a presentation entitled: “Fostering Judicial Coherence in the European Patent System: Lessons from the U.S.” Federica, a lawyer in Italy and a PhD researcher with the Faculty of Law at the University of Antwerp in Belgium focuses her research on Intellectual Property law, patent adjudication, and patent governance. Comparative research of the European and U.S. patent systems has helped identify commonalities and potential solutions applicable to both systems. Her talk will include suggested mechanisms to enhance judicial coherence in patent systems.  
 
The event is hosted by the International Visiting Scholars Program and the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property and will take place in the Pence Law Library.
