AULR Federal Circuit Symposium Welcomes Chief Judge Sharon Prost

Prof. Farley, Judge Prost and Counsel Cohen at the AULR Federal Circuit Symposium

On January 26, the American University Law Review's 33rd Annual Federal Circuit Symposium opened with a keynote interview of Chief Judge Sharon Prost (WCL'79). Speaking with PIJIP Professor Christine Farley and WilmerHale Counsel Rachel Weiner Cohen, Judge Prost discussed the role of oral arguments and the importance of """great clerks with significant technical expertise" in the cases brought before the Circuit. Their discussion is further described in a Law360 article by Bryan Koening.

The American University Law Review's symposium also included panels on patents, government contracts and international trade. The full agenda is available here.

Each year, the Review holds a symposium and publishes an issue focused on the Federal Circuit.
