IP and Human Rights
A public conference and closed-door strategy meeting held at American University Washington College of Law February 21-22, 2013, brought together scholars and advocates who are working to map the doctrinal and strategic intersections of intellectual property and human rights.
Webcasts from the public conference on intellectual property and human rights are included below. The event focused on four distinct sets of issues being explored as part of a forthcoming book project edited by Molly Land and Peter Yu.
On the second day, invitees held a roundtable discussion that launched a new network on IP and Human Rights. Outputs of the meeting included two new members-only resources — a email discussion list and an online syllabus bank to share teaching materials. The network is open to academics and advocates working at the intersection of intellectual property and human rights issues. To apply to join the network use the following link.
