Following graduation, Jordan taught English in Hangzhou, China, before joining the International Rescue Committee to work in communications, focusing on humanitarian aid and refugee resettlement in the United States. At WCL, Jordan has continued to learn about and develop her interest in international affairs. Her participation in WCL’s Kovler Project Against Torture helped her to develop professional skills during a hands-on learning experience at the United Nations Committee Against Torture proceedings in Geneva, Switzerland. WCL has also provided Jordan with excellent research opportunities. She is currently enrolled in WCL’s J.D./M.A. in International Affairs dual degree program, and her article on national security and international law will be published in Volume 67.2 of the American University Law Review.
