Chris White

Chris White is a third-year joint degree Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration candidate. Prior to attending American University he served for nine years as a Surface Warfare Officer with the United States Navy at posts across Europe and the Middle East; and remains in the Naval Reserve Forces. Chris has spent his summers working for the Court of Federal Claims (Judge Mary Ellen Coster Williams' chambers), in the General Counsel's office for The Chefs' Warehouse Inc., and is scheduled to be a Summer Associate for Shearman & Sterling LLP in 2018. Additionally, Chris is currently the Vice-President of the Student Bar Association, Editor-in-Chief of the National Security Law Brief, and President of the Transactional Law Society.

Washington College of Law The Oversight Project The program offers the country’s only student-edited blog covering the work of Federal government oversight and accountability institutions. Washington College of Law The Government Contracts Initiative The program oversees development of the law school’s Government Contracts-related curriculum and relevant programming in order to prepare students for careers in the field of Government Procurement Law. Washington College of Law The Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project The Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project is a nationally recognized law related education program that promotes democratic engagement, constitutional literacy, and legal advocacy. Washington College of Law Senior Affiliates in Law and Government Senior Affiliates in Law and Government are recognized experts in their field who come to the law school to teach, mentor and advise students, and serve as a resource to faculty and alumni.
