Daphna Hacker LL.M. ’96 won the Herbert Jacob Book Prize for her book Legalized Families in the Era of Bordered Globalization, that was named as the best book in law and society scholarship published in 2017. The prize was presented to Hacker on June 7 at the 2018 Law and Society Association Awards ceremony in Toronto, Canada.
