The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States and ? American University Washington College of Law will sign a five-year agreement that will allow for the granting of scholarships via an OAS-AUWCL PAEC Scholarship, Partnerships Program for Education and Training that consist of 50% of the tuition to study the Master of Laws Degree in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law also offered in Spanish, Maestria (LL.M.) en Derechos Humanos y Derecho Internacional Humanitario. American University Washington College of Law will also waive the application fee for PAEC applicants.
In order to be considered for an OAS-AUWCL PAEC Scholarship, applicants must:
- Apply through the GS/OAS DHDEE Scholarship website and satisfy the selection criteria set out by GS/OAS;
- Meet all of the University’s requirements for admission to the Programs;
- Receive an offer of admission from the University in regard to any of the Programs;
- Scholarship candidates must apply separately to the GS/OAS and to the University.
