Welcome to the 2016 Health Law and Policy Summer Institute!
Health law is an incredibly complex and dynamic field. It encompasses many diverse areas of legal practice including, litigation, regulatory counseling, and corporate practice, to name only a few. The field of health law has expanded significantly in recent years and will continue to grow in importance.
What is the Institute?
The Health Law and Policy Summer Institute at American University Washington College of Law welcomes both students and experienced professionals from around the nation. The Institute offers a range of courses to select from, all of which will be taught by leading health law experts. Each course will delve into the legal, regulatory, policy and compliance implications of the subject matter at hand, with emphasis on practical insights and application.
The courses may be taken for academic or continuing legal education credit by students and professionals. The Institute schedule is flexible and includes day and evening courses. Participants can enroll for the full week or register for just one or any number of courses, in whatever combination is preferred.

When and Where is the Institute?
The 2016 Health Law & Policy Summer Institute will run from June 20-25, 2016 at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC.
Lunch and Learn
The Health Law and Policy Summer Institute is thrilled to announce a Lunch and Learn with Mr. John Boese to be held on June 20, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 pm. Mr. Boese is a featured guest lecturer for the False Claims Act in the Health Care Industry course and is a nationally recognized expert on the civil False Claims Act. All Health Law and Policy Summer Institute participants are invited to join this special Lunch and Learn program.

Registration is on a rolling basis, but space is limited. Courses have enrollment maximums, so please register now!
