The Kovler Project Against Torture (formerly the United Nations Committee against Torture (UN CAT) Project) is a unique experiential learning opportunity for students to provide assistance to the UN Committee against Torture and attend the Committee’s session in Geneva, Switzerland. The KPAT includes a specialized practicum on the prohibition of torture under international law (with instruction by current and former Committee members), and one week in Geneva at the Committee’s session. KPAT participants will discuss their experiences and the Project’s February 2018 application process and deadlines:
