Jennifer Howard – Associate at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP
Jennifer Howard is a fourth-year associate in the Capital Markets & Investments Group at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP in Washington, D.C. She advises public and private investment companies on capital raising efforts, assists clients on a wide range of public and private transactions, and ensures that clients comply with federal securities laws.
Currently, Ms. Howard is working with a client to launch a new closed-end investment company alongside a private investment fund, each with the same opportunistic healthcare-focused investment strategy. Ms. Howard also has an active pro bono practice. She recently obtained compassionate release for an inmate who had been incarcerated for 33 years, successfully arguing that his deteriorating health conditions and the poor Covid-19 management systems at his federal prison warranted his release.
Ms. Howard graduated from the Washington College of Law in 2017 and is currently the co-chair of the Alumni Association of the American University Law Review.
