Cooperation Agreements

To strengthen the understanding of international human rights law, the Academy is continuously negotiating agreements with universities and government agencies throughout the world, and especially within the Americas and Europe. The main goal of the university agreements is for the Academy to complement the universities' programs of study. Agreements with the government agencies allow training opportunities for public officials. These agreements include provisions regarding the participation of visiting professors and the attendance of international students and government officials in the Program of Advanced Studies, the participation of student teams in the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition, the organization of human rights training courses abroad, and the preparation and publication of training materials, among other publications.
