AUWCL is committed to meeting the needs of all its students. Students with any accommodations requests, whether on-going or on an emergency basis, should contact the Office of Student Affairs in a timely manner to ensure that their concerns are addressed.

 

Disability Support

American University Washington College of Law is committed to providing an accessible, robust academic experience for all students, including students with disabilities. The Office of Student Affairs works closely with the Academic Support and Access Center (ASAC) on American University’s main campus to coordinate a variety of services for students with disabilities, including accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Pregnant and Parenting Students

WCL is dedicated to providing a supportive and accessible learning environment for our pregnant and parenting students. The Office of Student Affairs also works to facilitate any necessary accommodations under Title IX for our moms-to-be in order to ensure they are happy, healthy, and able to maintain their academic progress throughout their pregnancy.
