Patrick Urda

Adjunct instructor Patrick Urda is an attorney with the Appellate Section of the Tax Division of the Department of Justice, where he litigates tax issues in the various federal circuit courts of appeals. Prior to joining the Department, Mr. Urda was a law clerk for the Honorable Daniel Manion of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and also practiced law in Chicago, working for Maciorowski, Sackmann & Ulrich and McDermott, Will & Emery. Mr. Urda received his undergraduate degree in classics (summa cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame, and received his law degree from the Harvard Law School.
