Michael Stone works at CSC, Inc. in the role of Principal: Subcontracts, with responsibility for international contracting with CSC’s base of foreign vendors. He additionally serves as Professorial Lecturer at American University – Washington College of Law teaching legal research and writing to foreign LL.M. students in the International Legal Studies Program. Michael holds a BA, cum laude, in German from Carleton College, 1988; a JD from American University – Washington College of Law, 1992; and an LL.M. in International Legal Studies with a specialization in international business, from American University – Washington College of Law, 2012. Michael lived in Japan from 1992 to 2011 and worked in the Asia-Pacific legal department of The Walt Disney Company Japan, where his practice focused on cross-border licensing, commercial transactions, project development, and advising on investments in new theme parks and hotels in Japan, China, and other Asian markets.
